Evidence-based care with clear fees and flexible access (in-person & telehealth).

What We Offer

At Ridgeline Clinical Counseling, all services are provided in a confidential, safe, and supportive environment. We offer individual psychotherapy for adults, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress recovery. Services are grounded in trauma-informed care and integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). Treatment is customized to match each client’s goals, pacing, cultural background, and personal strengths, with an emphasis on nervous system regulation, practical skill-building, and sustainable change.

Ridgeline Clinical Counseling participates in the TRICARE network and the VA Community Care Network (CCN), providing outpatient mental health counseling to eligible TRICARE beneficiaries and accepting authorized VA Community Care referrals for eligible Veterans.

  • Individual Mental Health Therapy: 60-minute sessions centered on collaboratively defined treatment goals. Sessions often include practical coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and insight-building, with structured skill practice between sessions to support progress outside of therapy.
  • Trauma and Stress Recovery: Evidence-based, phase-oriented trauma treatment focused on safety and stabilization first, followed by trauma processing at a pace that protects the nervous system and supports long-term resilience through a strengths-based framework.
  • Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET): A structured, evidence-based trauma approach that helps clients organize and integrate distressing experiences into a coherent narrative, supporting processing of complex and cumulative trauma while maintaining a steady, paced therapeutic process.
  • First Responder, Veteran & Military Family Support: Culturally informed and occupation-aware counseling for police officers, firefighters, EMS professionals, corrections officers, Veterans, service members, military families, and other public safety professionals. Treatment recognizes the unique effects of cumulative trauma, critical incidents, hypervigilance, shift work, deployments, organizational stress, family transitions, transition from service, and other challenges associated with high-stress professions and military life.
  • In-Person & Telehealth Sessions: HIPAA-compliant services available in Gilbert, Arizona, or statewide through secure video-based care via SimplePractice.

TRICARE & VA Community Care

TRICARE

Ridgeline Clinical Counseling participates in the TRICARE network and provides outpatient mental health counseling to eligible TRICARE beneficiaries.

Most non-active-duty TRICARE beneficiaries may schedule outpatient mental health counseling directly with our office without a referral or preauthorization.

Active-duty service members require a referral and authorization before receiving civilian mental health services through TRICARE.

Coverage, deductibles, copayments, and cost-shares vary by TRICARE plan and beneficiary. Please contact our office with your TRICARE information so we can assist with scheduling.

VA Community Care Network

Ridgeline Clinical Counseling is a participating VA Community Care Network provider and accepts authorized referrals for eligible Veterans through VA Community Care, administered by TriWest Healthcare Alliance in Arizona.

VA Community Care generally requires a valid referral and authorization from the Department of Veterans Affairs before non-emergency treatment can be provided through VA Community Care.

Veterans interested in receiving counseling at Ridgeline Clinical Counseling through VA Community Care should contact their VA health care team and request a Community Care referral to:
